Hola and welcome back, faithful readers!

Once again, my story is gettin' away from me, so to speak. Every time I think I'm going to get to a certain point in my plot in one part, other things take over and make me have to rethink my structure a little bit.

Anyway, we last left our heroes poised to go haring off after the bandits who tried to assassinate Mayor Quarrie (were they successful? We'll find out in a later instalment!).
