w00t! Halfway!

So, the day isn't over, but I've officially reached the halfway mark and passed it! Go me!
Mostly I have to thank
ai731 for the massive amounts of wordcount I'm producing this week. Sitting down with her for several hours and writing means that I got about 4,500 words written today, and then there was the 2,500-word challenge from Tuesday to Wednesday, which resulted in about 3,500 words for me.
At this rate, and since I will have time to write tomorrow (I originally thought I would have to write tomorrow off since I had band practice —now cancelled— and a movie with a friend later), and since there's the writing jam on Sunday, I think I might aim for 30,000 words by Sunday night. It's an ambitious goal, but if I was able to write 4,500 words in one day today, I think it's feasible. 30,000 words means 4,247 words in two days.
Here's hoping. It certainly won't be the end of the world if I don't make it.
Also, the small, mean, petty, competitive part of me is nancing around singing "I'm number one! I'm number one!" ever since I checked my new ranking on the forums.
