NaNoWriMo Day 1

So far so good. ASotLD proceeds apace. Between having no job and having the zombies pretty much write themselves, I am much farther ahead than I thought I would be at this stage. The NaNo website is maddeningly slow, and has been trying to upload my latest wordcount for the past ten minutes. Argh! Hopefully this will resolve itself over the next few days. There are always problems with the website during the first week or so. Par for the course, really.

Wordcount is as follows:

8,063 / 50,000 (16.1%)

Ah. I see the website finally loaded. Good show. I am off to the NaNo meet!

Don't let her word count get you down. She's writing zombies, after all. Zombies? Why, they practically write themselves!

Yeah, what Ceri said. For one thing, I have more practise at this, so don't let my wordcount give you any wrong ideas about this project: it's a marathon, not a sprint. Also, zombies practically write themselves.

While I'm bugging you: you need to indicate your location as "Montreal" because you're not showing up on the Montreal board. It looks like you've set your regional affiliation, but not your location.
