Phear! (Or, NaNoWriMo Day 2, redux)

ASotLD is now at *drumroll* 20,002 words!

I stopped only because it amuses me to have a palindrome.

Tomorrow there will be more writing, but not as much because I have places to go and other things to do besides write my novel. I know: *gasp* *shock* *dismay* but what's a girl to do?

I am off to bed! I hope tonight is better than yesterday, when I lay awake for two hours trying *not* to think of new plot ideas. Ack! The zombies have eaten my brain!

This is freaking awesome. I will post more of ASotLD tomorrow when I get up.

Also, for those of you just tuning in: I am a feedback whore. Please, for the love of all that's good and holy, let me know what you think! I will love you forever (except if you tell me that I suck utterly and don't offer constructive criticism. Then I will stick out my tongue at you.) if you do.

Yay! Off to bed. Later!

Man you're steamrolling through nano!

I'll comment as I read, of course, but I'm already a zillion sections behind o_O

Heh. There's no hurry. The zombies aren't going anywhere.

Phear the Phnee! mousme the machine!

I haven't had time to peruse your efforts yet, but I'll check it out. If it is up to the caliber of your other writing, I'm sure it will be excellent!

Well, I hope it's up to par, but it was written a *lot* faster than most of my other stuff, so I expect there will be typos galore and more than a few clumsy sentences. Editing is for December. :)

Okay, you said you wanted feedback ;)

My god, this thing is fascinating and fun.

And I was thinking about it on my way to the park to walk and write on my own NaNo, but it feels like we're getting those little tidbits about some of the characters so we care and then the zombies come and they're history.

Or rather, they join the zombie masses.

It's so evil. Fun, but evil. :D

I do envy you your productive wordcount, however.

I did indeed want feedback!

A lot of the poor characters will indeed become zombie chow. It is a sad fact of zombie stories that the majority of the characters will eventually make some kind of mistake and get themselves munched on.

I'm glad to see so many people are enjoying my bit of zombie fluff. I was going for pure entertainment value this time around: zombies come, people die, people fight back, the story ends.

I only hope I can keep this up!

I would dearly love to read this story right now, but between forums and my own opus, I just don't think it's gonna be possible this month.

t!

No worries. The zombies, and everything else I write, are not going anywhere anytime soon. Take your time.

20K! You are a goddess of the keyboard.

Just read the first installment... already I love it.

Oh, good! I'm glad that people are enjoying this. It's not meant to be Serious or anything like that, the goal is to have people have fun while watching the zombies rampage. :)

Congrats on getting your own opus done, by the way! I posted a comment to your blog, but I think Safari ate it, as I haven't seen it appear since I posted it two days ago. Bah. Teh intarwebs and I aren't really good friends.

No, it's there; it just got temporarily caught by my spam filter, and since I didn't go online at all yesterday it sat waiting until I checked my net o'spam today. You used the word "hardcore" and it got antsy. :)

Hee! Your poor filter. It really doesn't like my, err, colourful use of language, does it?

Love the new icon. :)
